We’ve looked at every way to continue playing but that is impossible under the current restrictions laid down by England Squash.
Obviously we need to follow the advice and guidance set by England Squash. To this end, it is with great regret and sadness that we need to suspend playing normal squash. The main exceptions are that you can play solo, same household play and formal coaching; until the restrictions are lifted. You cannot play normal squash even in your squash bubbles. This may change and we will adapt accordingly.
We are also conscious that some members are new to the club or have just renewed their membership and the committee are looking at ways to reimburse members. However to qualify for a reimbursement you need to be a member (slight catch-22). Under these restrictions we accept it’s a huge ask but we need you to continue to renew your membership of the club as is typical at this time of year.
The club is open for certain limited types of squash so still has overheads to pay.
Due to the severity of the C19 situation we cannot allow non-members, guests or those not following the protocol written by Dave Kelly to attend the club.
